A little bit about the course...

This course is designed to provide a more in-depth understanding of Fine Art for older students. It is perfect for anyone who is considering taking art further into A Level or University. There will be a more academic focus on art history and an introduction to more ambitious approaches to image making. We will explore how the young artists current work fits within a wider contemporary context and push the boundaries of traditional methods. There will be an opportunity to get feedback on their current portfolio and develop that body of work with the guidance of a tutor and through regular group critiques. This course will run for 6 weeks for a maximum of 4 students
